Today, we Parisiennes will let you in on our most secret food fantasy. Nutella. Nothing compares to plunging a spoon into a pot of Nutella. It’s very naughty but still, it’s pure heaven. Everything should taste and feel as good as Nutella.
One man just got it: Philippe Conticini, a famous French pastry chef, and author of a book of recipes entirely dedicated to Nutella. And he has made our secret dream come true: his “Pâtisserie des Rèves” (your dream pastry shop) has just opened and it’s already the talk of the town. Parisians are flocking to his precious boutique nested in the chic 7th arrondissement wishing to get a taste of his pastry collection.
He’s got a real sweet tooth and he believes that pastry should only be about pleasure and not about complicated. Some examples…the dripping home-made praline of the Paris-Brest, the delicately crispy Saint-Honoré, the out of the oven apple crisp, the luscious espresso in the creamy coffee éclair.
